Tactical Squads are the foundation of the Legiones Astartes: adaptable bolter-armed infantry able to take and hold key ground, while assaulting fortified positions. Within the 29th, they form the disciplined firing line around which the company’s specialist formations manoeuvre, suppressing defenders and securing the ground taken by the siege.
