The Lord of Iron is not permanently attached to the 29th Grand Company, yet he has occasionally taken personal command of its operations. On such occasions the Iron Blood temporarily joins the company fleet; since Phall, Perturabo is accompanied by his Iron Circle automata. His repeated attention to Warsmith Anaxis may reflect an assessment of the 29th commander’s potential to one day serve among the Trident, his council of three senior Warsmiths.
